About Me

I am so excited for a great year!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Denver, Colorado and lived there until high school, when I moved to Texas. I graduated from Colorado State University, Pueblo in 2013. I love music!! I play guitar and  my favorite thing in the whole world is singing! I have a wonderful husband of 3 years. In May our family grew by two little feet, and we welcomed our first son   into the world! We love him so much and can’t get enough  snuggles! We also have what we like to call our “fur baby.” He’s a shepherd mix and a very sweet dog.

This will be my first year of teaching and I am thrilled to embark on this adventure! I have been working for Shackelford Elementary for the past 2 years as an instructional aide. There, I worked with small groups and designed lessons to help students improve and strengthen their academics. I am elated to have this opportunity and continue my education career!

I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of your children. I am a teacher who likes to work on building character and making sure we are all striving to meet our goals.  I want to instil a passion in all of your children’s hearts to learn and challenge themselves. I will always teach with passion and encourage your children.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our school year!
